Jurgen Schonafinger

Jurgen has been in the Financial Services industry since 1990 and he completed his Diploma of Financial Planning in 2001 through Deakin University. He was admitted as a Certified Financial Planner in 2001.

In 2001, Jurgen established Templeton Financial Services, building a well-respected Practice. In 2009, he merged his business with RetireInvest Benalla and in 2019, an additional office was established in Wodonga. 

Jurgen prides himself in educating his clients so that they have a better understanding of the investments they hold, and in time become more comfortable due to their increased knowledge of their financial situation.

Jurgen is married to Carolyn and they have two adult sons. Most weekends involve following the boys' sporting teams and gardening, with travel high on Jurgen's list of favourite pastimes.

Patrick McCarron

Patrick joined the team in June 2012, having previously spent 5 ½ years working as an adviser for AMP. Throughout his career he has completed additional tertiary studies and specialist accreditations.

Patrick advises to a widely diversified range of clients. This advice ranges from simple to extremely complex, depending on the needs of his client.

Patrick prides himself on his professionalism, honesty and integrity. Working with a like-minded team at Templeton Advice Group allows him to advise in the best interests of his clients.

A keen fan of the outdoors, Patrick enjoys many pursuits such as bike riding, skiing, fishing and travel.

William Woodford

William joined the team in October 2023 to do his professional year in preparation of becoming a
financial adviser.
While completing his financial planning studies, William began work in the industry during 2016 with family in Melbourne and has held multiple roles within the industry, from client service officer to marketing coordinator, to paraplanner.
Originally from Milawa, William relocated back to Wangaratta to raise his family of 2 young children with wife, Claire.
With interests including, fishing, boating and continuous learning, William values enjoying life with authenticity and critical thinking.

Daryl Johnstone

Daryl started working in the Financial Services industry in 2008 with Jurgen. Prior to joining the business, Daryl spent a number of years as the Manager of the Benalla and Wangaratta KFC stores.

Daryl enjoys helping clients navigate their way through difficult financial situations and getting the best outcome possible for them.

Outside of work, it’s Golf, Golf and more Golf along with watching his beloved Tigers make light work of their opposition on a regular basis.

In addition, Daryl enjoys bushwalking adventures, socialising with friends and spending time with his young family.

Kelly Mitchell

Kelly enjoys a good work-life balance living on the border where she has grown up and is passionate about assisting young professionals and retirees in achieving their financial goals.

Kelly is very keen to build professional and lasting relationships with clients and other business professionals.

Away from the office Kelly is a mum of two children, Hayley and Thomas.

Kelly is passionate about her fitness, ongoing education and enjoys a good coffee.
